Dr. Ann Snyder and her husband, Jerry, have lived in The Woodlands in Grogan's Mill for 28 years. She serves as the Executive Director of Generosity for The Woodlands United Methodist Church where she oversees funding for the Foundation, missions, stewardship, and capital campaign. She is also Head of Schools for TWUMC, toddlers - 7th grade. Snyder was elected to The Woodlands Township Board of Directors November, 2015 and currently serves as Treasurer of the Board as well as Chairman of the Township’s Economic Development Committee. A proven leader and accomplished administrator who believes in leading by example, she has assembled an impressive list of credentials during the course of her professional career and community involvement.
Prior to her positon at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, Snyder served as President & CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic. Under Snyder’s leadership, Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic became highly regarded nonprofits both financially and operationally in the greater Houston area.

Under Ann's leadership while serving on the CISD Board of Trustees (President for 2 terms), the public school system in The Woodlands flourished, passing much-needed school bonds to build new schools in the community and to continue to provide a high quality education for our children. A gifted educator, Ann received her doctorate in education from Baylor University.
Ann served as Chairman of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce (then known as the South County Chamber of Commerce) as well as serving as the first female President of The Woodlands Rotary Club, overseeing tremendous growth in our business community.
Others in the community may have previously known Ann as President of the National Charity League, President of The Woodlands Junior Golf Association, Sponsor of Interact Clubs at The Woodlands High School and The Woodlands College Park High School, President of The Woodlands High School Golf Booster Club, or perhaps their Cub Scout Leader or Sunday School teacher.
